About this tool

Duplicating a page comes up more often than you'd think. A form section that has to be filled out twice. A template page that should appear five times. A divider that repeats between chapters. The copy lands right after the original in the sidebar, ready to drag wherever it belongs.

Copies are fully independent. Edit the duplicate and the original doesn't move, so you can keep one clean template page and fork it for every new entry. Sign-up sheets, expense lines, attendance rosters, anything where the same blank layout has to repeat.

Combine it with reordering and you can build a whole document this way: duplicate a master page, drop the copies where they belong, then fill each one in. No need to keep a separate 'template' PDF lying around.

Frequently asked questions

Does duplicating a page increase file size?
The file grows, but less than you might expect. Fonts and images that pages share are only stored once, so a duplicate mostly adds the page content itself.
Can I duplicate a page multiple times in one click?
Click the + button as many times as you need copies. There's no "duplicate × 5" command yet, just one copy per click.
Where does the duplicate end up?
Right after the original. From there, drag it anywhere you like.
Are duplicates linked to the original?
No. Each copy stands alone, so changing one never changes another. That's what makes them safe to fill with different data.
Can I duplicate several pages at once?
Select them with shift-click, then duplicate. The block is copied as a group right after the last selected page.
