Rotate pages in a PDF

Fix sideways scans or upside-down pages. Rotate one page, several, or all of them.

  1. 1.Open your PDF.
  2. 2.Hover a thumbnail and click ↺ or ↻ to rotate.
  3. 3.Save PDF when you’re done.

Files are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Free, private, and actually unlimited.

No daily caps. No upload queue. No spinner that turns into a paywall after the third file.

Private by architecture

Your PDF's contents never leave your device. The editing tools run entirely in your browser — no upload, no server-side copy — and a Content-Security-Policy blocks any code that would try. Only account and contact actions ever reach our server, and they never carry your file.

Truly unlimited

No hourly throttling. No daily or monthly caps. No file-count limit. Edit one PDF or ten thousand — same site, same speed, no nag screen.

No signup, no watermarks

Every tool below works with or without an account or email. Output PDFs are clean — no stamps, no banners, no preview-mode quality downgrades.

About this tool

Rotation is usually about scanned documents that came in sideways or upside down. A phone scan held the wrong way, a flatbed that fed a page the long way, an attachment from a coworker that's flipped 90 degrees — none of those need a re-scan, just a 90° or 180° turn and a save.

Each page rotates independently, so a 200-page binder where only pages 47, 48, and 49 came in landscape can be fixed without touching the rest. The thumbnail sidebar shows the new orientation as soon as you click the rotate arrow, and rotations are remembered through undo / redo so experimentation is cheap.

Rotations are baked into the PDF at save time. That means the file opens correctly in any reader — Acrobat, Preview, browser viewers, mobile apps — without depending on a 'display rotation' setting that some renderers ignore. If you've ever had a PDF that looked fine on your screen and printed sideways, that's the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate just one page instead of the whole document?
Yes. Hover any thumbnail in the sidebar and use the ↺ / ↻ buttons to rotate that page only. Rotations on different pages do not interfere with each other.
Does rotating change the page size or aspect ratio?
For 90° and 270° rotations the page swaps width and height; for 180° it stays the same. Page content is rotated as a unit so margins and text relationships are preserved.
Will the rotation print correctly?
Yes. The rotation is written into the saved PDF, not just shown on screen. Printers and other PDF readers honor it the same way.
Can I rotate a page by 45 degrees or another non-90 angle?
Page-level rotation is limited to 90° increments because that is what the PDF page-rotation field supports. Free angles are available for individual elements you insert (images, signatures).
What happens to text I added on top of a rotated page?
Annotations rotate with the page, so a note placed at the top stays at the top after rotation. You can also rotate text boxes independently after the fact.
