Frequently asked questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes: no account and no daily limit. The work runs on your device, so there's nothing to meter.
What's the catch?
There's no hidden catch. Because your files never touch a server, running costs are tiny. How we make money →
Are there file-size limits?
Most PDF tools accept files up to 100 MB (Word documents up to 50 MB, images up to 10 MB each). Within those caps everything runs locally, so your device's memory is the only other limit. Everyday PDFs are fine.
Does anything get uploaded?
No. Your PDF is processed in your browser and never leaves your device. A tool you've already loaded keeps working even if you go offline.
