About this tool

Most online signing tools want the document uploaded first, which is an odd thing to do with a contract or an NDA. This one doesn't. The PDF and your signature stay in the browser. Draw with a mouse or trackpad, or type your name in one of four cursive fonts. Either way you get a transparent signature you can place on any page.

After the first signature, the toolbar button changes from Draw to Place, so signing every page of a long agreement is one click per page. Each placed signature resizes and rotates on its own, which helps when a form's signature box is cramped or printed at an angle. On save they merge into the document like any other annotation.

You can also copy a signature and paste it into other documents you have open, useful when you're working through a stack. And because nothing uploads, signing fifty documents means fifty clicks, not fifty uploads. The saved file is a plain PDF, with no 'signed via' badge and nothing that gives away how it was made.

Is a drawn signature legally binding?
In most places an electronic signature counts when both parties intend it to. What you make here is a visual signature. If you need a cryptographic e-signature with an audit trail, that's DocuSign territory.
Can I save my signature for next time?
Yes. Tick "Save for reuse" when you insert one and it goes into your signature library, ready to drop into any later document from the Saved tab, no redrawing. The library is stored in your own browser on your device, never uploaded, and you can delete any signature from it with one click. Prefer not to keep one? Leave the box unticked and the signature lasts only for the browser session.
Why does my signature have a slight grain at the edges?
It's rendered as a transparent PNG at canvas resolution, and at very small sizes the anti-aliasing can show. Scaling it up usually looks smoother, since the source image is bigger than most signature fields.
Can I sign with a typed name in a cursive font?
Yes. The Type tab in the signature dialog has four cursive fonts (Dancing Script, Caveat, Great Vibes, Pacifico). Type your name, pick one, place it like a drawn signature.
Does the signed PDF reveal that I signed it electronically?
No. Nothing gets added beyond the signature image itself. In the final file it looks the same as a scanned wet signature.
