About this tool

Organize is the catch-all. The appendix ended up in front of the summary, three scanned pages are upside down, one divider needs a second copy, and the last two pages shouldn't be there at all. Instead of visiting four different tools, you get the whole document as a wall of thumbnails and fix everything in one pass: reorder, rotate, duplicate, delete.

Drag a thumbnail to move it and the others shuffle over and renumber. Hover any page for one-click delete, rotate, and duplicate buttons. The edits go straight into the PDF's page tree, so bookmarks and internal links follow their pages around, and the file prints in the new order without any special settings.

The document stays in your browser the whole time. Nothing is uploaded, which is worth something when the file is a contract or a stack of medical scans. When the pages are finally in the right shape, save the result, or keep going in the editor and add text, a signature, or a watermark before you export.

Frequently asked questions

What can I do to the pages here?
Reorder by dragging, delete what you don't need, rotate in 90° steps, and duplicate any page as many times as you like. All from the same thumbnail view.
Can I reorder more than one page at once?
Yes. Shift-click for a range, ctrl/cmd-click for scattered pages, then drag. The selection moves as one block.
Will bookmarks and links still work after reorganizing?
Yes. They point at pages by reference, not by number, so they follow their page wherever it moves. Bookmarks aimed at a deleted page are dropped; the rest stay.
Does reorganizing re-compress the pages?
No. Only the page-tree references get rewritten. Images and fonts are copied byte for byte, and rotation is stored as a page attribute rather than a re-render. Nothing loses quality.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
The thumbnails you're dragging around are rendered by PDFium right there in the tab. Reordering, deleting, or duplicating a page doesn't send anything out either: the rebuilt file is only written, locally, once you hit save. Open the network panel mid-drag if you want to watch it stay empty.
